Pastor Varghese M Samuel is a dedicated servant of God and a passionate teacher of the Word, faithfully serving the Malayalam Christian community in Northampton, United Kingdom.
Born into a traditional Christian family in Kerala, South India, Pastor Varghese experienced a life-transforming encounter with Jesus Christ and accepted Him as his personal Saviour on 15 August 1980. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of his spiritual journey and lifelong commitment to ministry.
Ministry Journey & Calling
Church Planting & Pastoral Ministry in Kerala
Responding to God’s calling, he entered pastoral ministry with a deep burden for discipleship, biblical teaching, and nurturing believers in their faith. He pioneered church planting in Kerala and later served as a church minister over 3 locations there, establishing vibrant congregations.
Author & Theological Writer
Profoundly, he is an author who crafted more than 30 gospel tracts, which are still being published and circulated amongst public gospel meetings in Kerala. During this period, he has written many theological booklets and published 2 spiritual books as well.
Christian Apologetics & Defending the Faith
Pastor Varghese has a deep interest in Christian apologetics, with a passion for defending and clearly communicating the truth of the Gospel. He has actively engaged in teaching and sharing biblical truth in a way that addresses questions of faith, doctrine, and contemporary challenges to Christianity, equipping believers to articulate their beliefs confidently.
Rehoboth Charitable Trust Leadership & Family
In addition to his pastoral role, he serves in leadership with Rehoboth Charitable Trust, where he contributes to supporting the poor, vulnerable, and marginalised through practical aid, education, and pastoral care.
He resides in Northampton with his wife, Nisha, and their three children, and continues to serve the church and community with humility, compassion, and dedication.
